Arniko Society prepares 61 scholarship recipients for China

Arniko Society has announced and prepared 61 students to pursue their scholarships for higher studies in China.
 
The confirmation letter was distributed today during the Introductory and Interaction Program organized by Arniko Society for the 61 deserving students. The recipient students have been awarded provincial governmental scholarship in various fields of study at 7 different universities in Sichuan Province of People’s Republic of China.
 
The certificate of Scholarship Awards have been handed by the President of Society – Dr. Sarbottam Shrestha amidst the presence of executive members of Arniko society and parents/ guardians of the students present during the event.
 
Delivering the motivational speech to the students, President Shrestha highlighted the need to upkeep the history and value of the scholarship studies as a good opportunity – specially availed at the preface of Belt and Road Initiative of China.
Vice President and program coordinator of the event, Dr. Manoj Man Shrestha and General Secretary, Dr. Sushil Prajapati briefed the students to be aware of the customs, culture and systems prevailing at the universities in China. Wishing them all the best, they expressed their hope to see the students as the part of Arniko Society in the near future.
 
The event also highlighted experience sharing by students continuing their studies in China who emphasized on value of discipline and hard work to honor the opportunity provided by Arniko Society as well as make the parents proud back home. The interactive sharing program further helped answering queries of parents and students to prepare themselves better for the career ahead. The 61 students shall, after completion of language study for a year, pursue higher education in the field of agriculure & veterinary, Hotel Management, language studies, Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, Media and Management.
 
The opportunities of scholarships for Nepalese students is increasing every year due to efficient performance by students carefully scanned and selected by Arniko Society with effective facilitation and counseling. Established in 1981, Society has seen growth from its history of 2 scholarships to 40 scholarships last year.
